Short contracts

Most standard letting agencies insist on either a 6 or 12 month contract.

We understand that this may not suit everyone and

aim to be as flexible as possible

once we understand your needs.

Quick and easy administration process

How it works:
1) Once you have viewed a room and decided to take it we ask you for a holding deposit
2) We send your contract to you electronically so that you can read it through in your own time and ask us any questions before signing and emailing back to us
3) The remainder of your deposit and your first month`s rent is transferred to us

Referencing & easy credit check

We simplify this process as much as we can and appreciate that tenants who have just arrived in the UK may not have opened a bank account or obtained a National Insurance number. Don’t worry about this! We know these things can take time and will not let this ruin your chances of living in one of our beautiful homes.

18 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE

MyPlaceInBristol was founded by Giuseppe & Gilly Leone who have a passion for properties and have been involved in this industry since 2004 when they converted the loft in their London maisonette and rented out the property to young professionals.
Since 2015 they have managed a large portfolio of properties in Bristol where they always try to provide ‘homes’ for their tenants rather than just ‘accommodation’. As they speak Italian, French and Spanish they are also the first port of call for European tenants coming to work in Bristol and offer support and guidance to help them settle quickly into life in their new city.

GIUSEPPE LEONEFounder

Giuseppe is an Operations Manager and qualified Lean Six Sigma project manager who worked at a Global level for 17 years with Shell Oil and Gas. In 2015 he won the highly-prestigious, New Property Investor of the Year award. He is a highly self-motivated team player both in his job and the sporting world.

GILLY LEONEFounder

Gilly is a multilingual, CIPD-qualified professional, specialising in the project management of large culture change programmes and the creation of long-term client relationships. She has worked with both blue chip and public sector organisations in the UK and overseas and has been based in Milan, Madrid and Tokyo.

SARA CADDEOLettings Manager

Sara moved to Bristol in 2016 and rented a room in one of our shared houses. When we heard she was looking for a new job, we snatched her up and she joined the team in 2017. She takes care of property viewings and general enquires. Moreover, she is responsible for the day-to-day administration and taking care of our managed portfolio.
